At college

0 min read
So, I'm at college now. It's a lot of fun, and full of incredible people, but it's also an incredibly difficult place. So, I don't know how much I'll be posting here anymore. I have some recent pieces that I should submit, but I don't know when that'll happen. Anyway, I'm having fun, but I'm probably not going to respond to most anything in a timely matter now.

I have college apps! They are coming along okay, I think. But they still exist and cause issues. Anyway, I'll also working on a super pretty painting in class. I had a nightmare last night about someone destroying it. That's the first time I've had a nightmare about someone killing my art. Usually, I'm the one who destroys it by messing up. But that's really only with watercolor, because that's when one little slip can destroy a gorgeous work. So, watercolor is the most exciting, but also kinda dangerous. My current painting is acrylic though, so it's okay. Still, that's probably the worst nightmare I've had in years... Actually, I probably

I've not posted here in over half a year, and I don't have much of anything worth posting, mostly because it doesn't scan/photograph well. I may put up stuff eventually. I just got back from the Canada/USA Mathcamp! It was amazing, and yes, I'm a geek. I'm now getting deep into college applications territory... It's a scary, dark place. Does anyone have a flashlight? Or at least a candle? Or a teddy bear!? Actually, a Rubik's cube would probably be better than a teddy bear. I learned to cube at camp, and it's great fun, and a great fiddly (which, given my inability to sit still, is a major benefit). I need a good cube though... My only cub

Hi Clara, this is Rachel just in case you you couldn't figure that out. so, yeah, hi!^_^
Hi Clara! Thanks for the watch, although it's kind of unnecessary because I anticipate another long lazy period of unproductiveness, and if I do get something done, I'll be posting it on Facebook. I was surprised at myself when I came across Twisty Puzzles in that I subconsciously knew you had deviantART, but I'd never looked for your art except on Facebook. ^^; DeviantART should totally have more awesome pictures with mathematical puzzles in them..
Even so, it's nice to keep in touch in a multitude of ways. How on earth did you randomly encounter Twisty Puzzles?

I also plan on posting my future stuff on FB, although I post more art (as in, some of my not-so-good stuff) on DA. But I've really been enjoying painting recently.
thanks for the fave! :glomp:
Thanks for the :+favlove: :D
Thanks for the watch, Celesul.
