A gift for ~minubeazul Sorry that it's so late...
It has L as Prometheus, from the Greek legends. I thought it fit. ^.^ Rem is the eagle sent to eat his innards, which also fit well. I suppose Light is Zeus then. Anyway... I had an interesting time doing this, because I had never really tried to draw other peoples characters that realistically before. Rem is an absolute nightmare to draw... all those bones... I'm not sure if I like the shadows on L, or that Rem casts light on the water. I should have reversed it so she cast darkness on it. Oh well... overall, I'm happy with it, and it took long enough that I'm not going to change anything. Used pencil, paper, photoshop, macbook with OS X (leopard). |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. According the the myth, his innards always grow back, and he is eventually freed. So all is good. ^.^ Even if I do torment L for way too long.
